When entering the US Lacrosse membership number, make sure to type of the numbers in and do not copy/paste from the US Lacrosse website. If that still does not work, remove the 00’s that are in the front of the number and try again.
Registration was raised slightly for the 2024 season due to increased operational costs associated with uniforms, team equipment and field maintenance. There is a discount applied to families that register more than 1 player.
The fees include SJYLL membership, spring training (girls), uniform, paid coaches' salaries, shared equipment (goalie, special sticks, balls, goals, nets, game tables), field maintenance materials, game/referee fees and TeamSnap fees.
HYLC does not typically receive confirmation on field schedules until February, but below are some typical times you can expect for practices. Girls practices are not listed below, due to the number of teams and practice time variability. Everything is subject to change.
Boys - Below are the practice schedules from last year, which are not guaranteed to be the same this upcoming season, but we are sharing as an example.
First-second grade - 5 pm to 6:15 pm (Mon/Fri last year)
Third-fourth - 5:30 pm to 7 pm (Tues/Thurs last year)
Fifth-sixth - 7 pm to 8:30 pm (Tues/Thurs last year)
a Helmet (black helmets recommended, but ok if another color)
shoulder pads (must be NOCSAE approved / SEI certified)
an attached mouthguard
A new starter package can be bought in stores (e.g., Universal Lacrosse in Hainesport or Dicks) for about $260 or you can look online at Haddonfield parents or other sites where people might have leftover equipment, just be aware it’s hard to know the correct size without trying the equipment on.
